one out of thousands of bible verses

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.  Be self-controlled and alert.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for  someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
1 Peter 5:7-9  NIV

tuesday's treasure

How you doing?  I'm fine, tired, but fine:)  Just another Tuesday I guess; algebra (9am), french (11am), ya-da-ya-da-ya-da.............

The treasure today I guess would have to be the new clothes I'm wearing... and the dark cherry nail polish, of course:D  This nail polish happens to be my new favorite...EVER!!!  It's like this awesome, mysterious color!  I love it XD  It' really awesome to type this out with this awesome color....... *hahahahahahahahaha*
(okay I started this post saying how tired i was, and now i'm all like energized!)

Okay, so I saw this really awesome (i need to find more 'awesome' vocabulary words!) and funny (there we go) video on one of my favorite blogs called "There's A Book Out There...".  It's so funny:)

So I hope you liked it (cause i sure as heck just about peed my pants watching it! lol)!  I'll talk, chat, blog, (whatever) with you later friends:D

Well folks, I hope you learned something new on this Saturday in France:D  You may have already known a few of these words, but hey, it might have been a little of a review for you.  And if you're wondering why I didn't put the squiggly little things on some of the french words that needed them, my computer won't let me do that so........... yeah:)  I'll try to figure it out.  Bon, a tout a l'heure!

for the love of friday

Good morning troops:)  How are you?  Well, this is my very first post for "for the love friday".  Okay, for those of you who missed what this is about, click here

Today, I'm going to think of something random and bazaar (you: oh boy!  here we go 0.o )!  Let me think.... it has to be random and bazaar.... hmmmmmm........ (six minutes later... no joke)....... hmmmmmm...... uuuuuhhh, BUBBLEGUM!!!  Yes!  Bubblegum!

So.... let's talk about bubblegum.  Do you even like bubblegum?  I love it!  As a kid I used to get this really awesome grape flavor bubblegum after I saw our dentist (it was a special kind of dental bubblegum of course).  One time when my family and I were in a grocery store (i was like seven) I saw a whole end isle stocked with 'my gum'.  The "Oh Momma, would you pwease get this fo' me, I'll pay you back!" started up, but I sorta knew, that Mom would only let me get it if I saved up my own money (which was hard for me, cause i bought everything i thought i might like all the time, then.... sometimes that happens now, but not as much).  To save up some of my own money I would need to do some chores around the house for some cha-ching.  I looked at how much the bubblegum was on the end isle, 99 cents!  I started skipping alongside the cart all the way to the car.

After about a week an' a half, I had a little over a two dollar in quarters, dimes, and nickels.  Then the "Oh Momma, may we pwease go to da stowe so I can get my pwetty, pink, puwple, gwape bubblegum, oh pwease Momma?"  We eventually did go to the store and I found out that there were two in a pack for the same price, 99 cents!  I thought in my little seven year old brain, Maybe, if I get two packs of my bubblegum I'll have fou' packs aww together!

Well, imagine a little seven year old skipping out of a store with a bag with two bubblegum two packs, "T'ank you Momma fo' wetting me go to da stowe!  Oh an' Momma, guess what?  That nice w'ady at the countew gave me fwee money!  I should go the'e mowe often!"

That was my childhood memory of bubblegum.  Now I like spearmint gum right after I brush my teeth cause it makes me feel more minty fresh:D  Well my friends who just happen to be reading this, thanks for stopping by!  Now I have to get ready for school *ugh*.....

one out of thousands of bible verses

And because of his words many more became believers.  They said to the women, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."
John 4:41-42 NIV

you're probably wondering

Why I didn't have Tuesday's Treasure yesterday... well, it got cancelled (due to laughing at a sibling ,with another sibling, because the sibling couldn't get the math problem right.... i know D: i'm sorry z)

Yesterday was really great though (besides the math thingy)!  I got my hair trimmed and highlighted.  *sigh of relief*  I love having that fresh feeling, don't you?  It got up to sixty-five degrees, and we (the boys and I) played on the trampoline for a half hour.  Then I played Kinect for almost forty-five minutes (yes!).  You could say I had a really great day over all :D  But today I'm hurting super badly :(

So with that..... well I don't really know :I ....... I guess I'll see you tomorrow my lovely friends who just happen to be reading this. *giggle*

last night was awesome!

Last night was awesome... no joke:)

Rachael (click here to get to her amazing blog) invited me over to her house for a sleepover and we had the best time ever:D  I love having sleepovers!  You get to be all fun and silly and you stay up 'til two am... you can't beat that.  Rachael has this amazing art doodle pad for her computer called photo shop.  It so awesome!  I totally want one now!  So if you scan a picture in a scanner you can get the picture to your computer, and then play with it on photo shop (color it, get a background, etc.).  Rachael was looking through my sketch book, "Do you want to do some photo shop with your sketch book?"  I was all like, "Heck yes!"

Two and a half hours later (no joke), I had finished my first picture on photo shop!  Do you like it?

this is one of my new characters that i made up, Silver!
Two and a half hours, people!  But it was so worth it:)  I had so much fun!  Now that I think of it, photo shop might actually help me a lot with blogging...(it's $200 though, i should probably be saving right now.... babysitting here i come!)

what do you think?

I'm thinking about giving my blog an extra boost... what do you think?  What kind of boost, Allie?  Well, you know that some blogs have Wordless Wednesdays or Awkward, Awesome Thursday's, etc.  I decided I was going to make my own!  I think it will challenge me a bit,  help me blog a bit more.  So... you want to hear 'em?  *eh, eh?*

tuesday's treasure

Tuesday's Treasure will be about what I treasured the most about that Tuesday!  I hope that this weekly post will help me stay a little more positive than usual:)

one out of thousands of bible verses

Remember these?  I started the first two posts a few months ago and then stopped.... and now I decided to start it up again!  I will be posting these on Thursdays (just fyi).  For those of you who don't know what these are, they're just Bible verses that I have either a heart for, verses that have really inspired me or ones that I have really been thinking a lot about that week.  I hope not only to lift myself up with these Bible verses but to lift up you gals (or guys) out there who are reading this;)

for the love of friday

These posts (on fridays) will be about how random I am... for the love of Fridays, of course:)  I'm not quite sure how these post might end up being but I can tell you this... it's all just gonna be some random thoughts going through my head 0.o (you: really? ugh!).  Maybe I'll even talk about my day... my Friday that is.  But it will all be for the love Friday:)

un samedi en france (a saturday in france)

As a few of you know, I am taking French:)  Thank you, thank you!  My goal is to learn French (mon-fri {that's monday through friday, that wasn't some random french word I just happened to pop up on you}) and then tell you all what I learned about on Saturday!  I might even share some fun facts that I learned on France.

Well, that's about it.  So what do you think?  Do you like these blog boosters?  Do you not like them?  What do you think? (i'll be starting these next week so i can get the hang of everything, k?)

top ten tuesday

top ten reasons why one should learn how to speak french...

un (one).  in case you encounter someone who comes from from France, you can make them feel a bit more comfortable by speaking french.

deux (two).  if you are the one and only person in your family who speaks french, you can mumble to yourself without anyone knowing what you were saying... and if a sibling of yours speaks french as well you can talk to each other, still without people knowing what you happen to be talking about. *giggle*

trois (three).  college scholarships!

quatre (four).  you could read or write a book/blog in french.

cinq (five).  you could visit France and know what everyone was saying.

six (six).  watch french movies and tv shows.

sept (seven).  teach french people how to speak English (in french obviously)

huit (eight).  be a missionary in France!

neuf (nine).  help translate conversations

dix (ten).  you can write all of the numbers for "top ten tuesday" in french:)

i was right, it was a lot of reading

Yes!  I finished the Harry Potter book!  I did (finally!).  If you want to read my post, when I first started the book, click here:D

So, Allie.  How was the book?  Um, yeah.... It was amazing!  I loved the whole book.  I loved the characters.  But it was long.  Which was hard cause I needed to read some of my overdue library books, yet I still needed to read the Harry Potter book.  I ended up checking books out from the library and then having to recheck them out (several time, if might add), so this week, I'll be reading again, a lot!

Well, who would you recommend this book to?  I'd recommend it to anyone!  Maybe not little kids, but like ten and up.  Those of you fantasy lovers and suspense cravers out there, these are the books for you.  I've only read one out of the seven books, but I know that the other books (that i haven't read) are going to be holding you on the edge of your seat.... no joke :D

Here's the question we've all been longing for.  Do you think you're going to watch the seventh movie after you've just read the book?  You know, I'm not sure.  In some parts of the book, I was all like, "Oh, I wish I could see that part in the movie!" and then there were other parts that were really gory (not terribly gory, actually), and I'm not sure if I would be able to handle it.  So I'm going back and forth here.  I mean, I'm fourteen!  My brothers who are younger than me watched the movie and they weren't freaked out.  Other teens who are my age want to see horror movies and they call it "sooooo not creepy!".  Is it normal for me?  Are there any other teens out there like me?  Anyone? *silence*

Well, over all it was a great book!  I really recommend it to everyone.  It's a series you just have to read at least once in your life time... no joke :)  (do you think this is my new phrase?  no joke? hmmm...)

i broke my leg falling down the stairs today

April Fools!  *hahahahahahahahahahahahaha* Got you, didn't I?  Honestly I haven't done any big "April fools" jokes to any of my family members...yet!  I remember when I was little I used to say on April Fools day, "There's a polar bear walking down the street, Daddy!  Mom look, I found a spider in your coffee!"  etc. , etc.  And I could tell that it was getting a little annoying.

So last year, I spruced up my acting skills a little bit.  Want to know what last years joke was?

For All Guys Who Are Out There Reading This, You Might Want To Skip This Paragraph
                                                                    :) No Joke

It's April Fools Day, 2010.  I walk over to Mom, "Mom, can I talk to you for a sec?" I say in a real serious tone.  "Sure, Sweet Pea.  What's up?" She gave me her full attention.  "Um, well..... my..... my period started today ( :D *hehehe*),"  "Aww, sweetie!  That's so cool.  How are you feeling?  Do you want me to get you a heating pad for the cramps?  I have somethings if you want-" .................... "APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!"  I said giggling.  I could not stop giggling; the way how Mom's facial expression changed was so funny!  It was all like, wait, what? , then, wait, is that today? , and finally, awwww shoot!

*heeheehee*

For All Guys Who Are Reading This Right Now, Thanks For Skipping  That Paragraph, You Wouldn't Have Understood It Like We Women Would.................................... No Joke :)

got hair?

So with that here's a picture (it doesn't really have to do with April Fools, but whatever) :D  I still don't know if I'll spring some more jokes (like the other one) or if today will just be another regular day.  So what kind of jokes did you spring up on your family or friends?  I'd love to hear them!
